This website is my personal page on the internet where I share my thoughts, opinions, interests, and modest experience in the IT field.
I had long wanted to run something like this but never quite made up my mind. And then one day, while studying the docker technology, which I needed to use to install WordPress, the idea of finally bringing this long-standing plan to life came to me after I successfully launched the CMS.
The Raven Blog contains many materials about operating systems based on the Linux kernel and software running on it (primarily open source), both desktop and server. The materials include notes, instructions, recommendations, and selected news. All of this can be found in the “IT SECTION”.
My thoughts, reasoning, and other writings are located in the “LYRICS” section. The “INTERESTING” section is filled with various recommendations: YouTube videos, interesting articles, links to sources, etc. There is also a separate “IMAGES” section — here I post different images, whether desktop wallpapers or just art.
I think it’s now clear why “blog”, but why “raven”? The answer to this question is explained on a separate page: Why a Raven?
It’s also worth mentioning that I run a Telegram channel of the same name📱. You can learn about all new posts on the website from there. You can also always ask questions about the materials on the site in the Raven Chat🧐. To the best of my skills and knowledge, I will definitely find the time and try to help you. Other chat members also regularly and voluntarily join in to solve various tasks😇. In the same chat, feel free to suggest your own topics for discussion — preferably within the channel’s theme😀. But(!) before any communication, be sure to read the community chat rules.
Overall, there is nothing fundamentally new or supernatural here. Just a simple informational resource with a raven on the site icon👨💻
